Zavecz to Debut for Opals
Hanna Zavecz has over come a back injury to be selected for the Opals for the first time in her career.

Opals Down Japan

The Jayco Australian Opals had a comfortable 3 series win over the touring Japanese side last week.

The series provided opportunities for players not involved in the WNBA to put their names forward for the upcoming World Title defence this September.

Alicia Poto and Kath McLeod took turns in running the point and setting up Australia's dominate scoring game. Liz Cambage and Elyse Penaluna showed why they are two of the young guns in the bigs department with size and skill well in their favour over Japan.

Congrats to the players and coaches Carrie Graf (Head) and Michele Timms (Asst) on their  home series win.

Special thanks to Melissa Sudero Photography for the action photos.
